ABA announces speakers for ELDC Public Policy Forum

The American Bakers Association’s (ABA) Executive Leadership Development Committee (ELDC) announced Sen. John Boozman (R-Ariz.), Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) and Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) will speak at the upcoming ELDC Public Policy Forum, Sept. 21-23, in Washington, D.C.

“ELDC is honored to have such distinguished members of Congress on the program agenda of this year’s forum,” ELDC co-chair Miles Dennis, of Flowers Foods, said in a press release. “Senators Boozman and Isakson, along with Rep. Scott, are proven Congressional leaders and ardent supporters of the baking industry and broader business community. We look forward to their remarks with great anticipation and gratitude.”

The ABA Executive Leadership Development Committee brings baker and allied executives together in a forum that educates on industry trends; encourages active participation in public policy discussions, the political process and its impact on the industry; informs participants on the role of the ABA and its activities and develops personal leadership and management skills.
