Glanbia Nutritionals introduced an ingredient solution for sugar reduction at the SupplySide West show, which took place in Las Vegas earlier this month. OptiSol™ 2000 is a unique binding system that reduces sugar by up to 50 percent, providing an alternative to lecithin and other binders.
The ingredient, which delivers added nutritional value with no loss in binding capacity, is suitable for several applications, including chewy granola bars, baked bars and cereal clusters.
