The Grain Foods Foundation reinforced the importance of grain-based foods in a healthful diet by kicking off a comprehensive public education campaign in New York City and Washington, D.C., on Feb. 1. The campaign, Grains for LIFE, included an array of multimedia advertisements and in-person interviews.
The campaign was promoted with 30-second messages throughout January on the Times Square jumbotron. As part of the campaign, a variety of out-of-home advertisements, including billboards, wallscapes, bus shelters, pedi-cabs and posters in fitness centers, was displayed throughout New York City and Washington, D.C. The Grain Foods Foundation also launched its website, www.grainpower.org, which serves as an educational resource for consumers, physicians and members of the media.
The Grain Foods Foundation is a joint venture of members of the milling and baking industries, and is dedicated to promoting the importance of grain-based foods.
