The Independent Bakers Association (IBA), convened its annual winter meeting at The Breakers in Palm Beach.

Attendees had the opportunity to network and discuss relevant topics affecting the baking industry, such as labor, energy, grain production and supply, food safety, the current political and economic climate, and the grain market, among others. Legislation affecting labor and energy policy were topics of particular interest to bakers who continue to weather the challenges posed by the current economic environment.

IBA will host its 34th Annual Convention at the Washington Court Hotel, Washington, D.C., June 17-19.
