New Products: Muffins and breads

Bake'n Joy Foods Inc., Andover, Mass., introduced FreshBakes peach muffins to its spring line up of muffins, which also includes its Triple Berry Blast variety. The 6.25 oz. muffins are available as ready-to-bake muffin batters. Its new trans fat-free peach muffins contain bits of peach and natural peach flavoring and bake up extremely moist.

French Meadow Bakery^™, Eagan, Minn., launched Our Daily Bread^™, which is yeast-free, vegan and contains no added oils or sweeteners. The soft, sprouted whole grain bread is made with CoroWise^™, a plant sterol clinically proven to lower LDL cholesterol when incorporated into the daily diet. Our Daily Bread, which is topped with omega-3 rich chia seeds, is now one of five products in the bakery's performance bread line. The other breads in this line include: Men's Sprouted Bread^™, Women's Sprouted Bread^™, Healthseed Spelt Bread and Hemp Sprouted Bread.

Sara Lee Fresh Bakery, Downers Grove, Ill, is partnering with The Heart Truth Campaign to raise awareness of heart disease among women. The company will support the campaign in many ways including highlighting The Heart Truth logo on more than 27 million bread packages through the end of June.
