2006 marks the 60th Anniversary of Nordic Ware. Founded in 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by H. David Dalquist and his wife Dorothy, Nordic Ware continues to still successfully manufacture its products in America.

Beginning with the iconic Bundt Pan, which is a registered trademark of Northland Aluminum Products, Nordic Ware now offers upwards of 50 different Bundt shaped baking products for commercial baking. "Today, there are nearly 60 million Bundt pans in consumer kitchens across the continent," says David Dalquist, President of Nordic Ware and son of the company's cofounders. Spanning from consumer kitchens to commercial bakeries with recent feature treatment in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and a Christmas day article in the New York Times Magazine, not to mention numerous cooking and news shows, the cultural embrace of The Bundt is now seen as a uniquely American phenomenon.

In honor of their 60th anniversary and due to the massive popularity of the Bundt Pan, Nordic Ware has designated November 15 as National Bundt Day. A year long celebration leading up to the day has been planned. A Limited Edition Anniversary Bundt Pan is being re-introduced for this occasion along with many other new Bundt Pan Shapes.
