Ralcorp Holdings appoints new board members

Barry Beracha and Patrick Moore have been named to the board of directors at Ralcorp Holdings Inc., effective upon the separation of the Post cereals business.

Beracha was executive vice president of Sara Lee Corp. and CEO of Sara Lee Bakery Group, which was created when Sara Lee acquired The Earthgrains Co. in 2001, until he retired in 2003. Before that, he was chairman and CEO of The Earthgrains Co. since it spun off from Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. in 1996. Beracha also has served on the boards of directors of Pepsi Bottling Group, McCormick & Co. Inc. and Saint Louis University. He continues to serve on the board of directors of The Hertz Corp.

Moore is president and CEO of investment advisory firm PJM Advisors LLC. He held various roles at Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. from 1998 until his retirement in 2011, including chairman, president and CEO. Since 2004, Moore has been a member of the board of directors of Archer Daniels Midland Co. He also is on the board of directors of ITT Exelis, the North American Review Board of American Air Liquide Holdings Inc.
