Thanks to a donation from Hobart, the Ultimate Cake Decorating Contest at the Mall of America will be offering the winner of the Wedding Cake Competition an option to choose either the original listed First Prize of $1000 or a new Hobart 12 quart HL120 mixer valued at $5477.
The UMBA Ultimate Cake Decorating Contest will be held on Sunday, October 26 at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. The contest features a birthday cake competition for students enrolled in an approved culinary program, along with a Halloween cake and Wedding Cake competition for professional decorators. To compete, you must be a member of a UMBA or a RBA member bakery.
The contest is sponsored by UMBA along with Hobart, General Mills, Bakery Crafts, Best Brands, Dawn Foods, Gregory's, Brill and DecoPac.
