Milwaukee, WI—The “Original Cream Puffs” proudly produced for 82 years by the WBA will continue to be the icon dessert food of the annual Wisconsin State Fair for many years to come.
A new contractual relationship designed to help reduce the cost for State Fair and retain the world famous pastry for the hundreds of thousands of fairgoers was developed for the WBA to operate the Dairy Bakery as an independent operation.
This long-term agreement will provide a strong financial basis for the WBA’s future as the leading local bakery association in the country. The WBA has proudly served the baking industry in Wisconsin since 1905.
“Our continued commitment to the quality, service and a truly unique family experience has always been and will continue to be the essence of our business at the Wisconsin State Fair,” said WBA Executive Director and State Fair Dairy Bakery Manager Dave Schmidt. “‘The Original Cream Puffs’ showcase the pride of our bakery members and we are very happy to be continuing that great tradition for many years to come.”
