Alpha Baking rolls out alternative-fuel delivery trucks
National bakery products distributor Alpha Baking Co. Inc. has rolled out a fleet of alternative-fueled bread delivery trucks operating in the Chicago-metro area.
The 22 trucks are fueled by Roush CleanTech clean-burning, domestically produced propane autogas. Alpha Baking tapped Penske Truck Leasing to administer maintenance activities.

Love and Quiches expanded its ongoing commitment to Wounded Warriors, donating $4,816.34 of its annual profits to the Research and Development Association for Military Food and Packaging’s (R&DA) Military Assistance Program, which donates 100 percent of all funds to the wounded and their families. Love and Quiches was among the sponsors of the event, which was held on May 21 in Amelia Island, Fla.
