Blooming cupcake bouquet
A late summer bouquet of colorful flowers piped on cupcakes will brighten any showcase. Unique packaging can continue the theme.
Colorful cupcake bouquets make the perfect summer pick-me-up. Non-traditional packaging, such as the base of a terracotta flowerpot, makes a unique hostess gift or centerpiece. Decorate using a variety of different flowers for a colorful display, or use the same flower to make a bouquet that really pops. To begin, ice cupcakes with green icing using tip No. 12 and smooth with a warm, damp spatula. Ice enough cupcakes to completely fill the base of the flowerpot. To create a center for the bouquet, use one cupcake that is slightly larger than the others. Here, the pink rose is piped on a larger cupcake and is the center of the bouquet.
