|Unsalted butter ||12 ounces |
|Warm water ||20 fluid ounces |
|Eggs ||8 ounces || |
COMBINE 4 cups of the flour, the sugar, SPLENDA® Granulated, yeast and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse corn meal.
ADD warm water to flour mixture. Mix on medium speed for approximately 2 minutes, or until very well blended. Add eggs. Mix until blended.
ADD 2 cups of flour. Beat until thick. Stir in remaining flour, 1 cup at a time until the dough pulls together.
TURN dough out onto a floured work surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Cover dough with a damp towel and let rest for 20 minutes.
PUNCH down dough and form into desired shape.
NOTE: Use this dough for any of your sweet breads (cinnamon rolls, sweet rolls, etc.) or desserts that require sweet yeasted dough.
