OBITUARY

John Roeser Jr., 89, Punta Gorda, Fla., died May 13. Born in Chicago, Mr. Roeser graduated from Northwestern Military Academy and joined his family's successful bakery business. He owned and operated Roeser's Bakery, established in 1911, in Chicago for 50 years before moving to Florida in 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Treadwell Roeser, and is survived by his children, Jennifer (Ames) Seefeld, Elette (Bill) Drew, and John (Debbie) Roeser III, who currenly owns and operates the family bakery.
