The Wisconsin Bakers Association (WBA) and OCP Bakers LLC, Milwaukee, launched a new OCP Bakers Web site, wwworiginalcreampuffs.com. The site provides the latest information on the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Bakery.
“With 2008 being the second year that OCP Bakers LLC has provided the Original Cream Puffs at the Wisconsin State Fair, we are excited to have this site to provide information for cream puff enthusiasts,” said WBA Executive Director Dave Schmidt. “We look forward to building on the site in the future, including the option to place orders online.”
The Web site includes information about the history of the Dairy Bakery, the Guest Baker of the Day program, highlights from past fairs and descriptions on the three products the Dairy Bakery sells: Original Cream Puffs, Blue Ribbon Brownies and Colossal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
An average of 52 cream puffs a minute are sold at the Wisconsin State Fair, which takes place July 31 to August 10 this year. The 24-hour operation makes Original Cream Puffs at the fair's Dairy Bakery, the busiest retail bakery in the world for 14 days, according to OCP Bakers.
