Bakery product supplier Baker Boy was named one of the 5,000 fastest growing privately held companies of 2011 by Inc. Magazine, a publication for business owners and entrepreneurs.
Baker Boy recently completed a 50,000-sq.-ft. expansion of the production facility at its Dickinson, N.D., headquarters. The new building also incorporates sustainability features, including 36 skylights that reduce use of electrical energy through use of natural light. In addition to continued facility expansion, the company aims to grow its sales and customer base throughout the Midwest and western United States, according to a press release.
“We’re very honored to receive this award,” Guy Moos, president and second-generation owner of Baker Boy, said in the release. “As a privately held company, we face unique challenges, but we have always maintained a commitment to quality and customer service.
