Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, has introduced its newest culinary creation, Cake Bites–a single serving cake filled with ice cream.

These mini desserts are covered with ganache and finished with a decorative drizzle of either chocolate or caramel. Cake Bites, available in individual servings or four packs in the following four flavors; double chocolate, praline caramel, chocolate mint, and vanilla blondie.

"Cake Bites are the latest miniature offering from Baskin-Robbins following the release of its mini cones and the recent addition of mini 31Below frozen beverages and Mini Soft Serve Parfaits.

"We wanted to offer our ice cream cake enthusiasts a unique dessert that can be enjoyed individually or shared with that special someone," Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin' Brands vice president of innovation and executive chef, said in a press release. "Cake Bites provide our on-the-go consumers an affordable elegant holiday dessert that looks exquisite, tastes delicious and requires no preparation time."
