Bruegger's Bagels is offering limited-time-only menu additions that offer a new twist on old favorites. The items are available from June 20 through Sept. 18.
For a new summer sandwich, Bruegger’s combined its lox and cream cheese spread with the flavors of the California roll to create the California Roll Smoked Salmon Sandwich. Served on a sesame bagel, the sandwich features cucumber, smoked salmon and avocado with Bruegger’s wasabi cream cheese.
“We tested the California Roll Smoked Salmon Sandwich in two of our markets and our guests raved about it,” Bruegger’s executive chef Philip Smith said in a press release. “They loved the fresh taste combination and unexpected Asian flavor of our wasabi cream cheese that makes this sandwich unique.”
Bruegger’s, also is bringing back the pretzel bagel and chocolate chip bagel on June 20. The pretzel bagel combines the crunchy salt topping and dark caramel color of soft pretzels with the flavor and texture of a Bruegger’s New York-style bagel. The chocolate chip bagel can be served for breakfast, lunch or as a sweet treat.
Bruegger’s featured summer coffee flavor is Kahlúa, a nonalcoholic coffee drink that can be ordered either hot, iced or as an Iced Coffee Cooler.
Bruegger’s also will add the Better Cheddar Egg sandwich to the summer menu. This sandwich features egg, cheddar cheese, bacon and light herb garlic cream cheese served on a plain bagel.
