Less than one week before the inaugural All Things Baking trade show, the event has already outpaced total attendance at 2009’s American Retail Bakery Exhibition, which All Things Baking is replacing.
“The new event is already up 30 percent over pre-registration compared to the RBA standalone event that occurred in 2009,” Jacquelyn Clair, ATB’s marketing manager, said in a press release. “This is an exciting time to launch a show aimed at forward-thinkers who want to take their baking or food business to the next level.”
The Retail Bakers of America (RBA), American Bakers Association (ABA) and Bakery Equipment Manufacturers & Allieds (BEMA) created the All Things Baking event given their success with the 2010 International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), which grew nearly 40 percent from the previous event. The new national trade show will serve as the industry’s annual marketplace, meeting place and educational forum during the two-year gap in the IBIE rotation and keep baking and foodservice professionals on the leading edge of consumer trends.
The show is taking place at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center Oct. 2-4. For more information, visit http://allthingsbaking2011.com.
