Three of Gonnella Baking Co.’s production and baking facilities have been certified as capable of producing kosher products.
The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (OU), New York, certified three Gonnella facilities: its baking facility in Aurora, Ill., and its frozen products division facilities in Schaumburg, Ill., and Hazle Township, Pa.
OU, the world’s largest and most organized kosher organization, provides both domestic and international kosher and pareve certification services.
“Gonnella is pleased to provide kosher products to our customers,” Daniel Herzog, vice president of corporate compliance–food safety, said in a press release. “Many customers look for OU’s logo before making a purchase because they are so widely respected for quality kosher products.”
