Inline Plastics boosts manufacturing capabilities
Inline Plastics Corp. has expanded its manufacturing facilities in Salt Lake City, Utah, and McDonough, Ga., in response to the continued growth of its food packaging products. Both facilities are adding jobs to support increased capacity.
The Salt Lake facility recently completed installation of a new large platform, roll fed thermoforming machine and attendant support equipment-resulting in a total addition of 47,000 sq. ft. The plant now comprises 156,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehousing space. Inline plans to produce several extensions to its Safe-T-Fresh® and grab-and-go foodservice container product lines.
Inline’s McDonough, Ga., plant, which opened in 2009, added a new large platform thermoforming production line. The new line will double the facility’s capacity to produce the Safe-T-Fresh tamper evident line of containers, in addition to several new products. The Georgia facility currently consists of 158,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehousing space.
