Hannah Coan, former senior vice president of Waggener Edstrom Public Relations, has been named vice president of corporate and brand affairs at Nestle USA. She is replacing Laurie MacDonald.
In her new role, Coan will be responsible for Nestle USA's internal and external communications, public affairs, and the Culinary Center based in Glendale, Calif. She led communications for Microsoft's Office Division while at Waggener Edstrom. Prior to that, she was executive vice president and managing director of Publicis Consultants PR in Seattle.
Scott Remy, chief communications officer of Nestle USA, said in a press release: "Hannah Coan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Nestle USA, and we look forward to having her build on the strong foundation established by her predecessor."
