ADM appoints new management

Archer Daniels Midland Co. has appointed a new vice president of technical services for its ADM Milling division.

Nick Weigel has been named vice president, technical services for ADM Milling. He is replacing Don Sullins, who retired on Dec. 31 after 16 years at ADM.

Weigel previously was director of technical services and R&D at ADM. He is now responsible for managing quality control, quality assurance, food safety, R&D and technical services for ADM Milling. He reports to Mark Kolkhorst, ADM vice president and president of ADM Milling and Alliance Nutrition.

“Nick has a deep background in the milling and baking industry, and his knowledge and leadership will help us continue to deliver excellent products and service to our customers,” Kolkhorst said in a press release. “Don’s knowledge and wisdom will be missed, and we wish him well as he begins this new chapter.”
