On Feb. 9 Bruegger's Bagels is celebrating National Bagel Day and its 29th birthday with its second annual Three Free Bagel Day Birthday Bash. Through 2 p.m., customers who bring a coupon to any Bruegger's location receive three free bagels.
The coupon is available for download under the "Birthday Bash" tab on Bruegger's Facebook page Subscribers to Bruegger's email club will receive the coupon via email. Last year, the bagel bakery chain gave out nearly 250,000 bagels.
This year also marked Bruegger's third annual National Bagel Day Survey, in which the bakery chain asks consumers about their favorite bagels and toppings each year in honor of bagel day. The "everything" bagel won in the bagel category for the third straight year, with Asiago Parmesan in second and cinnamon-sugar bagel in third.
