Buddy Valastro will open a third Carlo's Bakery location in Westfield, N.J., later this year.
Just two weeks after opening the second Carlo’s Bakery outpost in Ridgewood, N.J., Buddy Valastro says he plans to open a third location in Westfield later this year as part of a statewide expansion of the business.
Carlo’s Bakery Westfield will include the same product line as the original Carlo’s as well as a custom “cake bar,” where customers can order occasion cakes and watch them being made. Like the other two bakeries, the newest location is within walking distance of mass transit, which Valastro says greatly helps business.
So far, 2013 has been busy for the Cake Boss. He also announced plans to open a location on the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship and signed on for another TLC pilot, “Bakery Go Time,” which is slated to premier in the summer.
