David M. Gordon has worked for the Cheesecake Factory for 20 years, most recently as chief operating officer.
David M. Gordon has been appointed the new president of the Cheesecake Factory Inc., effective immediately, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.
Gordon, who most recently was chief operating officer of the Cheesecake Factory and Grand Lux Café restaurants, is replacing Michael Jannini, who left the company to pursue other interests. In his 20 years with the casual-dining restaurant company, Gordon also has served as regional vice president of the West Coast and area director of operations.
In addition to naming Gordon president, the company also announced that Spero Alex will be its new senior vice president of operations, also effective immediately. Alex has been with the company for 24 years, most recently serving as regional vice president of the East Coast.
