Dawn Food Products named Clabber Girl Corp. the Dawn Distributors Advantage (DDA) Vendor of the Year for the company’s service and performance in 2011.
The DDA program is a large-volume buying network through which Dawn finds the best sources and deals across baking product categories. Clabber Girl, founded in 1850, supplies chemical leaveners to more than 40 countries.
“Much like Dawn, our partners at Clabber Girl are passionate about delivering great quality every time and on time,” Carrie Jones-Barber, CEO of Dawn, said in a press release. “We are proud to recognize the ongoing work that Clabber Girl team members are doing to ensure DDA customers succeed.”
Clabber Girl’s president and COO Gary Morris accepted the award at the DDA awards dinner during the group’s annual meeting on Jan. 10 in Phoenix.
