After the selection of the Louis Lesaffre Cup, the 12 teams participating in the Bakery World Cup have all been decided. The competing countries are South Korea, Costa Rica, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Senegal, Sweden and Taiwan.
Each team, made up of three candidates, will compete in an eight-hour test during which they will perform the following: baguettes and specialty breads, sweet pastries, savory presentation (new in 2012), and an artistic piece on the theme “The bread, a symbol of your country.”
