Dunkin' Donuts has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with Doug and Katy Redman for seven restaurants in Denver, Colo. The first restaurant is planned to open in 2013, and the remainder by 2018.
This father and daughter team will manage and oversee the company's daily operations for each restaurant. With more than 23 years of experience in the franchise industry, Doug formally was a development agent and multi-unit owner of more than 140 Subway restaurants.
"We are excited to expand Dunkin' Donuts' presence in Denver and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here," Doug said in a press release. "We have a passion and loyalty for the brand and look forward to the opening of our Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the years to come."
This announcement comes on the heels of a recent multi-unit store development agreement Dunkin’ signed with a newly formed subsidiary of Sizzling Platter LLC (Sizzling Donuts LLC) for 11 new restaurants in Denver that are planned to open over the next several years.
