Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, recently named Harlan Bakeries of Avon, Ind., the 2010 Supplier of the Year, one of the company’s highest distinctions.

The Supplier of the Year Award is presented to a vendor that adds significant value through cost savings, innovative process engineering, product quality, service enhancements or incremental sales.

Harlan Bakeries became a supplier for the Dunkin’ Donuts Bagel Twist category in 2010. The bakery company worked with the culinary and commercialization teams at Dunkin’ Donuts on this new variety of bagels, which drove a significant increase in the brand’s overall bagel category sales.

We’re pleased to honor them for representing the very best of the Dunkin’ Brands system.”

Harlan Bakeries received their award at the Dunkin’ Brands Franchisee & Enterprise Awards event on March 1 at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, Mass.
