Krispy Kreme shutters Calif. distribution
BakeMark USA, Pico Rivera, Calif., agreed to take over distributing donut mixes, other ingredients and supplies for most of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. facilities west of the Mississippi River. Krispy Kreme will not renew the lease for its California distribution center, and plans to vacate it by August 31, according to company officials.
