Modern Baking seeks Retail Bakery of the Year

Do you have one of the best retail bakeries in the nation or would like to nominate someone who does? If so, go to www.modern-baking.com to submit your application for Modern Baking's 2010 Retail Bakery of the Year.

Applicants will be judged on management systems, product quality, training programs, merchandising and marketing plans, sales and industry service. The winner will be featured in Modern Baking magazine and will be recognized in front of their peers in Las Vegas during the International Baking Industry Expo (IBIE) 2010. IBIE will be held Sept. 26-29.

Past winners include Costeaux French Bakery, Healdsburg, Calif.; Pasticceria Bruno, New York; Atwood's Bakery, Alexandria, La.; Torrance Bakery, Torrance, Calif.; Porto's Bakery, Glendale, Calif.; and Cold Spring Bakery, Cold Spring, Minn. Applications for the 2010 Retail Bakery of the Year must be received by May 30.
