BAB Inc., Deerfield, Ill., opened two units of its new concept, My Favorite Muffin® Your All Day Bakery Café, in Littleton and Highlands Ranch, Colo. The company is the franchisor and licensor of Big Apple Bagels®, My Favorite Muffin, Jacobs Bros. Bagels® and Brewster’s® Coffee. The new concept incorporates the strengths of the original BAB concepts into a newly designed café that features a contemporary and comfortable interior and a menu that crosses several dayparts while maintaining its focus on fresh baked products, especially its cake-like muffins.

The stores contain display cases featuring 20 varieties of 6-oz. jumbo muffins and eight variations of minis, with flavors ranging from blueberry and cinnamon crumb to chocolate cheesecake and Boston cream pie. My Favorite Muffin also recently launched a line of Celebration Cupcakes™, custom decorated cupcakes for catering orders. The stores also offer bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, fruit smoothies and coffee.
Your All Day Bakery Cafés range in size from 1,600 sq. ft. to 2,000 sq. ft. and have flexible layouts to accommodate varying space configurations. BAB plans to expand the concept nationwide with area development and individual franchise agreements.
