Panera Bread will once again hold the Southwest Ohio Panerathons in Cincinnati and Dayton, benefiting the Children’s Hunger Alliance. Both events include a 5K walk/run and a Panera Kids Fun Run, a quarter-mile course that is free for children 12 and younger.
The fourth annual Cincinnati Panerathon 5K will be held on Sept. 10, and the fifth annual Dayton Panerathon 5K will be held the day after the Cincinnati race, on Sept. 11.
Participants will receive an event t-shirt and a Panera race bag. The top three finishers, both male and female, as well as to the top three finishers in each age group will be awarded medals.
"The Panerathon is part of Panera Bread's commitment to giving back and making a difference in the Southwest Ohio community, and this year is no different," said Jeff Rains, CEO, Breads of the World LLC for Panera Bread, in a press release.
