Price Chopper Supermarkets hired Jay Mandrillo as director of bakery merchandising at the 129-store chain, according to Supermarket News.
In this newly created post, Mandrillo will oversee bakery procurement, merchandising, sales and developing competitive programs for Price Chopper. He reports to Keith Frosceno, group vice president, fresh foods merchandising.
Mandrillo most recently worked in the bakery and produce areas at Wakefern Food Corp., Keasbey, N.J., and also previously worked for Pathmark, Kings Super Markets and Stop & Shop.
