Gregory and Thomas Reinwald, the sons of Retail Bakers of America (RBA) President Richard Reinwald, set out on a one-week road trip June 17, making at least 20 stops along the way to visit regional bakeries.
Labeled the RBA Heritage Tour, the trip led the two fourth-generation bakers from Los Angeles through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Florida, before they reached their final destination in Charleston, S.C. They represented the RBA while touring member and non-member bakeries to raise awareness of the local retail bakery.
