Rich's is transitioning from its current dual business group structure, North America and International, to one organization consisting of five regional business units: U.S./Canada, Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Europe/Middle East and South Africa.
Rich's executive strategic leadership team will continue to report to president and CEO Bill Gisel and maintain accountability for Rich's portfolio of businesses, financial controls and risk management, organizational development and worldwide reputation. The following are key position and responsibility changes for the executive team:
Richard Ferranti is being promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Ferranti, who most recently served as president of Rich's North America business group, will now oversee Rich's five regional businesses. Prior to his North America leadership role, he spent 10 years as president of Rich's International business.
Kevin Malchoff is being appointed to the new role of executive vice president of global business development, where he will lead efforts to accelerate new business worldwide. Malchoff also was appointed to the company’s board of directors. He most recently was president of Rich’s international business group.
Maureen Hurley, Rich's executive vice president and chief administrative officer, is continuing in her current role of overseeing the company's legal, communications and human resources functions. Hurley also is taking on added responsibilities related to global HR leadership.
