Took designated 2010 businessperson of the year

Keith Took, owner of Old Town Donuts, St. Louis, was named 2010 Businessperson of the Year by the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.

Took purchased the bakery in 1996 from his sister and brother-in-law, who started the business in 1968.

Even during a recession, people still enjoy donuts, Took said. “Business has been exactly the same through the years. We cater to schools, churches, seniors and kids. The donut business hasn't changed.”
