Ray Richard will be joining Stratas Foods LLC as senior vice president of risk management and procurement.
Richard is joining Stratas from Ventura Foods LLC in Brea, Calif., where he was senior vice president of commodity operations.
He also serves as an advisory board member to the Institute of Shortening and Edible Oils and as second vice president of the National Institute of Oilseed Products.

His industry knowledge and experience will enhance the team we currently have and allow us to build on the strengths of Stratas,” said Tedd Kruse, Stratas CEO, in a press release. “We look forward to our future success as Ray becomes part of the team.”Richard and his family will relocate to the Memphis, Tenn., for his position.
Stratas Foods LLC is a joint venture of Archer Daniels Midland Co. and ACH Food Cos. Inc., which is a subsidiary of Associated British Foods. From production facilities across North America, Stratas serves companies in the foodservice, food manufacturing and retail channels.
