1. To create a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer cake, base ice a quarter sheet cake with white icing. Airbrush the top and bottom borders yellow. With tip No. 9 and brown icing, pipe the outline of a reindeerメs head, then fill it in and smooth the icing with a spatula.

2. Dab a clean towel over the icing to add texture.

3. With tip No. 9, pipe a circle for the deerメs snout. Smooth it with a spatula, and texturize with a clean towel. Using an open coupler or a cut paper tube, add white ovals for the eyes and smooth the icing. Then, pipe a red ball for the nose.

4. Use a cut paper tube and an upand- down motion to pipe a green garland under the deerメs head. Add red dots of icing. Pipe dark chocolate antlers with an open coupler. Then, using the light brown icing, add ears and tufts of fur at the top of the deerメs head.

5. Pipe a looping string of green icing around the top border of the cake using an open tip. Stripe a pastry bag with gel and fill with a matching icing color, and pipe light bulbs of various colors along the green strand. Add the green bulb sockets at the base of each light bulb and the wall plug-in at the end of the strand. Highlight each bulb with a small strip of white icing.

6. Use a small cut paper tube to add black facial details, such as eyebrows and eyelashes, a smiling mouth and pupils. At the top of the pupils, pipe small white dots. Pipe a shell bottom border with each side a different color that matches the light bulbs. Sprinkle red glitter on Rudolphメs nose to make it sparkle.6. 1. For a jolly Santa cake, base ice a quarter sheet cake with white icing. Airbrush the bottom border green, and add zigzags across the top of the cake. Use a cut paper tube to pipe a bean-shaped face; smooth with a spatula. Add two swoops to create Santaメs cheeks.

2. With red icing and an open coupler, pipe a hat and outstretched arms. Smooth the icing with a spatula and sprinkle with red glitter.

3. Outline the top of the face with white icing for Santaメs hair, and using an up-and-down motion, pipe the beard. Add a moustache above the beard. Then, accent the ends of the arms with strips of white icing and add a ball at the end of the hat. Pipe two white eyebrows.

4. Using a v-cut paper tube, pipe two green leaves above one of Santaメs eyes. Add three red balls of icing to create holly. Using tip No. 128, pipe a banner across Santaメs arms. With a cut paper tube, pipe green mittens at the end of Santaメs arms; smooth the icing. Add facial features, such as black eyelids and eyelashes and a red mouth. Pipe an appropriate message across the white banner.

5. Pipe red scallops along the top border of the cake using a cut paper tube. With a v-cut paper tube, add two green leaves at the top of each scallop. Pipe a red dot of icing at the juncture of the leaves.

6. Use a cut paper tube to pipe white snowflakes on top of the cake. Then, add a white shell border around the base of the cake; overpipe the border with red dots. Sprinkle the entire cake with clear edible glitter to finish the design.
