1. Portion the dough and roll into logs. Chill, and then lightly brush with egg wash before dredging the dough log in granulated sugar.
2. Cut the dough logs into 1-cm. thick slices.
3. Place cookies on parchment-lined sheet pans.
4. Bake at 300ﾰF to 325ﾰF until completely baked, about 10 to 12 minutes.
