The American Bakers Association (ABA) has added four new members to the board of directors.
Maureen Linder, senior vice president and general manager, Fresh & Frozen Bakery at Pepperidge Farm, will replace long-time ABA board director Pat Callaghan, who retires in July.
Erin Sharp also joins the ABA board from the Kroger Co., where she serves as the vice president of manufacturing, central region. Sharp replaces outgoing director Mary Ellen Adcock, who transitioned out of the baking category when she was promoted at Kroger earlier this year.
John C. Campbell II joins the ABA board as vice president of Chattanooga Bakery—a new company now represented at the board level.
Finally, Dave Murphy, Mother Murphy’s Laboratories, has assumed the role of AIB chairman. Dan Babin, Bimbo Bakeries, ended his term as AIB chairman in March.
“ABA is of course disappointed to say goodbye to some exceptional voices on our board of directors. Pat, Mary Ellen, and Dan have been tremendous assets to our organization during their service,” ABA president & CEO Robb MacKie said in a statement. “I know the membership joins me in thanking them for their terrific contributions.”
