The American Society of Baking (ASB), presented its annual BakingTech conference in Chicago earlier this month.
The conference aims to provide bakers with additional tools, so they can remain competitive in the industry. Sessions focused on developing leadership skills, discovering new ways to mentor others, networking with peers, consumers and suppliers and learning about the latest industry equipment and ingredient trends.
More than 180 suppliers showcased products and services at the ASB MarketPlace, which was extended to a three day event, up from two the year before. Attendees browsed tabletops, networked and learned about the latest industry developments.
