In keeping with BIT's reputation as problem solvers, we provide and integrate software and automation products for production, research and development, quality assurance, engineering, and maintenance and sanitation departments. We provide PLC automation systems for production line and plant-wide automation, as well as continuous and batch mixing systems for material handling applications.
Our capabilities extend from complete PLC control systems to SCADA/HMI software and system engineering. BIT demonstrates substantial expertise, application knowledge and experience that are specific to the baking and food industry. BIT's engineers also provide project management for the integration of production line installations.
We have incorporated a Batch and Ingredient Lot Number tracking function into our acclaimed PRIMS Batching software. With the addition of this function, PRIMS offers a fantastic return on investment by virtually eliminating bad batches and ingredient losses, and offers the additional benefit of making your plant compliant with Title III of the Bioterrorism Act. This affordable software has proven to be extremely reliable and easy to use.
PRIMS is an acronym for Production, Recipe, Ingredient, Management Software. It automates the batching of ingredients at the mixer or scaling station. PRIMS records scaling deviations for ingredients that are automatically fed or scaled into the mixer. It also records the processes, ingredient lot numbers and batch numbers. Through PRIMS' reporting modules, the production supervisor can look up problem batches and diagnose quality control issues.
BIT Corp. also offers the Baking Technology Toolkit. This collection of software tools for the baking industry contains useful techniques, equations and methods used in bakeries. The Baking Technology Toolkit is easy to use and provides a more accurate approach to the mixing and formulation of raising agents. For bakers, product developers and quality controllers, the tools offer the potential for increased product consistency, which in turn reduces waste and increases profits. Tools include:
