New Haven, Conn.–Always searching for flavorful new tastes, a popular New Haven, Connecticut-based artisan bread baker has recently introduced three new ways to delight its avid fans. According to Chabaso Bakery’s Director of Marketing, Dorothy Radlicz, “American bread-lovers are in for a trio of new fresh-baked treats.”
All of Chabaso’s handcrafted breads are hearth-baked in European ovens according to Old World traditions. Wholesome ingredients are mixed using the age-old techniques of artisan bakers. But in Chabaso’s creative bakery environment, new flavors and textures are always being tried, tested and tasted.
The first of the three new breads in the market is Sesame Semolina Loaf, packaged with a yellow banner and a waving-wheat design on the traditional Chabaso brown paper bag. This delicious bread has a creamy and soft inside and a crunchy sesame seed crust. Velvety smooth semolina flour gives it a perfect taste and texture for sandwiches, with dinner, or toasted with butter for breakfast with the family's favorite fruit preserves or jams.
Chabaso’s second new loaf is the Toscana with its dark green banner label and an illustration of the Tuscany landscape on the bag. Here's the traditional hearty Tuscan region taste and texture that will take one back to the hills of central Italy. The interior of the bread has a hearty feel with a slight tang and light sourdough taste enclosed in a golden, thin, crispy crust. Toscana is perfect for sandwiches, with meals and soups, or soaking up your favorite pasta sauces.
The Rosemary Olive Oil loaf completes the threesome of new bread tastes. A light olive-green banner and rosemary herbs are pictured on the brown paper bag. Made with wonderful hints of savory, rosemary and rich extra virgin olive oil mixed into the dough and baked to perfection. Chabaso’s Rosemary Olive Oil Loaf has a fragrant essence with a crispy crust that takes a delicious ham or turkey sandwich to a whole new level of flavor.
