The Bread Bakers Guild of America presents Dara Reimers, Artistic Design Member of Bread Bakers Guild Team USA 2008
October 2008, Providence, RI - Women of The Guild North American Tour 2008, organized by The Bread Bakers Guild of America, enters the artistic realm with a Master Class in Providence, Rhode Island. Bread baker Dara Reimers will teach a baking education class at Johnson & Wales University on October 3 and 4, 2008.
In this hands-on master class, Artistic Design for Bread Bakers, students will learn bread design techniques using a variety of live and dead doughs, allowing them to create decorative showpieces that enchant their customers and increase their sales.
Reimers is the artistic design member of Bread Bakers Guild Team USA 2008, which competed at the prestigious international bread baking competition, Le Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie in April 2008. She holds a Pastry Arts Diploma from the Notter School of Pastry Arts and is the owner of The Bread Shack in Auburn, Maine.
Women of The Guild is an exciting series of Master Classes featuring The Bread Bakers Guild of America’s superstar women bakers as instructors. The classes, which are taking place across the country throughout 2008, are part of The Guild’s efforts to shape the knowledge and skills of the artisan baking community through education.
