The Board of Directors of Dawn Food Products Inc., Jackson, Mich., appointed Carrie Jones-Barber as chief executive officer of the company.
Jones-Barber is the third generation of the Jones family to continue Dawn's growth, along with other Jones family members and 4,000 employees worldwide. She most recently served as president of Dawn Foods International and was responsible for business strategy, growth and profitability of Dawn's international operations, which grew to more than $200 million during her six-year tenure. Jones-Barber's past experience with Dawn also includes a role as business development manager for Dawn Foods UK Ltd., where she helped develop business opportunities in the U.K. and Europe.
In another board action, Ronald Jones was appointed chairman and Miles Jones was named co-chairman of Dawn Food Products. Ron Jones and Miles Jones will remain active in the management of Dawn.
