The RBA board of directors approved the increase during its board meeting in September last year.
The tiered dues structure is based on gross bakery revenue, segmented as follows:
$350 - Revenue $500,000 or less
$400 - Revenue from $500,001 to $750,000
$500 - Revenue more than $750,000
"The increase is necessary to raise revenues so the board can continue to provide members with industry resources, business management information and networking opportunities," said RBA President Mike Kalupa in a letter to RBA members.
