In response to consumers’ growing demand for more whole grains, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels has rolled out a honey whole grain pretzel at its stores nationwide.
The honey whole grain pretzel has been labeled with the Whole Grains Council stamp of approval because it contains at least 67 grams of whole grains per serving. The pretzel also contains six grams of fiber and only 300 calories.
To promote the new product, Auntie Anne’s is hosting four “Sampling Saturdays” events at it stores, offering bite-size samples of the whole grain pretzel as well as ways for customers to enter a sweepstakes offering instant prizes and a $25,000 grand prize. The events will take place Jan. 19, Feb. 2, Feb. 16 and March 9.
