The three-day competition took place during Europain in Paris in March. Twelve teams competed for the top three spots. Each member of the three-member teams was responsible for one of three categories: viennsoiseries, breads & baguettes and artistic design. The team members then had to work together to complete the fourth category of savory sandwiches. Japan came in first and Taiwan took third. Baking Team USA’s second place finish guarantees the United States a spot in the next Coupe du Monde in 2016.
