Georgia Nut Company was founded in 1945 by Rose Musso. By the late 1970’s the third generation to the family business became actively involved with new ideas and the entrepreneurial spirit inherited from their grandmother. A nut company with humble beginnings took its first steps in becoming a multi faceted company with an expansion into candy manufacturing.
Georgia Nut is now located in a 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility with a combination of state of the art equipment complimented by the old-fashioned small batch methods. In addition, the company’s products are warehoused and shipped from a 180,000 square foot distribution center located just down the road from the Skokie facility.
